How audio credits work
One credit is consumed when PhraseWeaver generates a new text-to-speech clip for a phrase-and-voice combination it has never produced before. If the same phrase has already been spoken in the same voice — by you or any other user — the cached clip is reused and no credit is charged.
In practice, this means studying Library content costs nothing in credits; credits are only spent when you create new custom phrases in your own islands and generate audio for them. Pronunciation assessment, flashcards, master tracks, and review sessions never cost credits on any plan.
Subscription credits reset on your monthly renewal date. Top-up credits purchased through Expansion Packs never expire and are spent only after your monthly pool is depleted.
A note on pronunciation assessment
Phrase-by-phrase pronunciation feedback is included on every plan, with no credit cost — we believe the feedback loop is the core of the product, not a paywalled feature. Premium adds the deeper monthly Deep-Dive: a 60-second open-ended recording analysed for CEFR level alongside fluency, intonation, grammar, and lexical range.
